Testing the effects - Protocol

We tested the effectiveness of the ATHMOSS germicidal air purifier on contaminated microbiological air pollution, as Microwell company takes a very responsible approach to the development and sale of a germicidal device using UV-C radiation. THE INSTITUTE OF CLINICAL MICROBIOLOGY in Hradec Králové, ČR, measured the influence of the germicidal air purifier Athmoss 120 Office on microbiological air pollution of the living room during normal operation, as well as on artificially contaminated laboratory air. It came to the conclusion: after 1 hour of operation of the device, there was a decrease of bacteria by 93.9% and a decrease of mold by 99.9%. After 2 hours of operation of the device, a further decrease of bacteria was recorded up to a total of 2.7% of the original number of bacteria and a decrease of mold up to 0% of the original number of mold before switching on the device.

Conformity certificate

The safety of the product, thus its safe use for the purpose of disinfecting air from bacteria, viruses and other harmful substances, is confirmed by professional authorization issued by the certification body Technical Testing Institute Piešťany, š.p.

Quality management system according to the requirements of STN EN ISO 9001:2016

The goal of MICROWELL, spol. s.r.o. is to constantly satisfy customer needs with quality products offered on the market.

Quality is one of the basic requirements for goods and services. Therefore the Microwell, spol. s.r.o. company strives to continuously improve the quality of its products.

In 2007, a quality management system was built and certified throughout the company according to the requirements of the STN EN ISO 9001: 2001 system standard, which was successfully recertified in 2013 according to the requirements of the STN EN ISO 9001: 2009 system standard in the area of:

• Sales, installation and servicing of measuring, control technology and air conditioning technology
• Manufacture, sale, installation and service of dehumidifiers and heat pumps
• Research, development, production, sale, assembly and service of germicidal radiators

Environmental quality management system STN ISO 14001:2016

The current development and direction of production activity in all sectors of the economy requires environmental behavior to be taken into account and that the conditions for its continuous improvement be ensured, i.e. to create a sustainable industrial ecosystem. The tool for achieving this state is also the implementation, maintenance and development of an environmental management system (hereinafter EMS) according to the ISO 14001 standard.

In 2011, the entire Microwell company built and certified an environmental quality management system in accordance with the requirements of the STN EN ISO 14001: 2005 standard in the following areas:
• Sales, installation and servicing of measuring, control technology and air conditioning technology
• Manufacture, sale, installation and service of dehumidifiers and heat pumps
• Research, development, production, sale, assembly and service of germicidal radiators

Occupational health and safety management system STN ISO 45001:2019

Microwell has long strived to meet the requirements of safety regulations, to identify risks to safety and health, and to ensure favorable working conditions.

Fulfillment of the requirements of the STN OHSAS 18001: 2009 standard was proved, on the basis of which the Certification Body TÜV SÜD Slovakia s.r.o. on 04.12.2013 issued a certificate proving the implementation and use of the occupational health and safety management system in the area of:
• Sales, installation and servicing of measuring, control technology and air conditioning technology
• Manufacture, sale, installation and service of dehumidifiers and heat pumps
• Research, development, production, sale, assembly and service of germicidal radiators

OHSAS 18001 was replaced on November 14th, 2019 during the recertification audit with the ISO 45001 certificate.
